Visual Signs of Engine Mount Wear

Wear and tear can create to a smaller than normal range due to a bent section or a jammed part, or too much or a range due to gradual wear. Too much range of motion permits jams from foreign objects and damages the equilibrium between machine mounts, which must carry a properly balanced load to work properly.

One of the big indicators your engine mounts need replacing is excessive engine noise, especially when the motor is idling. Part of the noise comes from increased vibrations. They aren’t being dissipated, so they travel through the vehicle’s body. The other part comes from the fact that as the engine fights more of its own built up vibrational momentum it has to work harder to reach the desired level of performance. This shows you that a good set of motor mounts not only make your vehicle safer, but keep its efficient.

Vibration Dampener that gives good pop, doesn't fall off, and good feel?

I just got a Babolat Aero Storm, and I love it. I bought the Babolat Custom Dampeners, but they always fell off.
So what dampener gives you good pop, doesn't fall off often, and dampens the vibration while still giving you feel?

You're asking an awful lot from a dampener... I've never known a dampener to give any pop. At all. From my experiences, any dampeners I've used have actually dropped the power slightly (I wanted that effect actually). There's some people who claim that dampeners only change the sound at contact, but I do believe it has a little more effect than that.

But I can fully understand the issues with them popping off. I had that problem, too. Then I got a couple of these dampeners:

I love them. Haven't had one pop off yet, even if the ball hits directly on the dampener itself. And they seem to dampen vibrations effectively.
